Does my landlord need to be on RentPay?
No. Paying any landlord bank account earns 2% (Tier 01). Paying within RentPay earns 3% (Tier 02), and 4% with RENT Points (Tier 03). The 3% and 4% are the total reward, shared; the split is confirmed before launch.
Who holds my deposit?
Neither RentPay nor your landlord. It sits in a non-custodial escrow smart contract both sides sign. Release needs mutual consent or a resolved dispute. RentPay can’t move funds alone.
Is the yield guaranteed?
No. 5–7% APY is a target from vetted real-world-asset yield sources, shown as variable in the app. Both sides opt in; otherwise the deposit stays locked and earns nothing.
Is the card a real card?
Yes. It runs on Mastercard rails, works wherever Mastercard does, supports Apple Pay and Google Pay from day one, and is funded from your AED or USD balance.
How do RENT Points work?
They’re credited the moment a payment clears, shown on every receipt, and spendable in the in-app marketplace. Nothing to claim.
Which countries?
Dubai at launch. Other regions open their waitlists as approvals land.
